Where is your office ?

My office is at 4035 U.S. Hwy. 231 North, Suite D., Wetumpka, AL 36109. It is located 7 miles north of Montgomery's Northern Blvd., in the Village Center business area. (If your your GPS sends you north of Hwy. 14 plug in 4049 U.S. Hwy, 231 N., the Mailboxes Express) . Over the door of 4035 is a sign that reads "The Business Center". 4035 is the office to the left of the office of Ken Owens State Farm.

If you are playing out of pocket the first session is $90.00 and the following sessions are $70.00. I accept payment by check or cash. 

There is no cost if you are using your company's EAP (Employee Assistance Program) benefits for Short-Term Solution-Focused counseling.

The cost of your sessions may be covered by medical insurance. I bill most insurance companies.However, I do not bill Medicaid, Medicare, or Tricare insurance. 

Yes, I will keep what you say confidential. However there are some things I can not keep confidential. Alabama counselors are required to disclose client information in the following circumstances:

·  If a client appears to be a potential to harm him/herself

·  If a client appears to be a potential threat to harm someone else

·  If suspicion of abuse/neglect of a minor exists

·  If suspicion of abuse/neglect of an elder exists

·  Records will be released pursuant to a court order

·  Records will be released to insurance carriers/EAP referral sources/billing services to secure payment, and

·  Information may be released to a collection agency to secure payment after 90 days or for a civil suit as deemed necessary.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) I do not prescribe medications. However, I work closely with Psychiatrists and other medical providers who do write prescriptions. These prescribing providers often rely on me to monitor how your medication(s) are working for you, and update them as needed.
